Back to the roots - “new” MADUMA patterns

Back to the roots - “new” MADUMA patterns

Heritage. Tradition. Legacy. There are many words for it, all apply to the idea behind MADUMA. Born out of the desire to help keep traditional Maltese floor tile patterns alive, the business is all about reviving the old.

Since our launch in 2017, our product range and our Maltese floor tile-inspired designs have grown and evolved. This year we want to bring back not just one, but two patterns from our initial product range! Your requests to bring back the two patterns inspired us to take action, so we asked you, our community, to vote on bringing them back. Hundreds of votes later we know for certain that bringing back these two classic patterns is the right idea! An overwhelming majority makes it evident, just how many people have been following MADUMA from the start!

So without further ado, we’re “reintroducing” you to the new patterns:

Iswed

Looks familiar? That’s cause it is! Known from our current stationery collection and our beach towel collection, the elegant black and white pattern is a fan favourite. Especially our male audience is drawn to this traditional Maltese floor tile-inspired pattern. Thanks to its elegance, the organic cotton t-shirt matches with almost every outfit!

Pre-order available.

Mustard

Whilst opinions on the identically named condiment splits the opinions of many, we can all agree that it looks great in this Maltese pattern! Great for your summer outfit, this organic cotton t-shirt is a must-have for your wardrobe. Inspired by the traditional Maltese tiles in Nana’s house, which were also mustard coloured, the pattern made it into the first-ever MADUMA collection. The reintroduced pattern is back as a limited edition for the summer of 2022.

Pre-order available.
